Very rough business. Not sure why sentiment is rising here. Netbooks are killing the laptop market on the margin. Server sales will likely be very slow. ATI acquisition has not worked out that well.

Tough business against Intel. At best they will have occasional victories but why invest here when you can just buy Intel?

AMD will recover from it's restructuring and post modest gains for the remainder of 2008 and most of 2009. New product launches and renewed interest in the enthusiast sector bode well for AMD.
